Professional NDIS Services
Chrysus Group provides experienced NDIS support services from its base in Phillip, ACT, assisting participants across Canberra, ACT, and throughout the ACT region and extending support to Albury, NSW; Wodonga, VIC; and Wagga Wagga, NSW.
SUPPORTING NDIS PARTICIPANTS WITH PRACTICAL SERVICES & GUIDANCE
The National Disability Insurance Scheme is designed to help people living with disabilities access the support they need to build independence and participate fully in their communities. For many participants, this support involves a combination of practical assistance, mentoring, and guidance to help achieve personal goals.
Chrysus Group provides a range of support services that focus on helping participants build capacity while also assisting with everyday activities. The approach focuses on understanding each participant’s goals, strengths, and challenges so that services can be tailored to suit individual needs.
Rather than providing a one-size-fits-all approach, Chrysus Group works alongside participants, families, and support coordinators to ensure services align with the participant’s NDIS plan and personal goals.
EXPERIENCED STAFF WITH BACKGROUNDS IN MENTAL HEALTH & COMMUNITY SUPPORT
Many of the team members involved in delivering NDIS services bring experience from mental health support, peer mentoring, and community services roles. Some staff also bring lived experience, which allows them to understand the challenges participants may face while working towards independence.
This combination of professional training and real-world experience helps build trust between participants and support workers. A supportive environment often encourages participants to feel comfortable discussing their goals and challenges, which can lead to more effective support outcomes.
Chrysus Group focuses on providing respectful, reliable, and consistent assistance so that participants can feel confident when accessing services.
PRACTICAL SUPPORT SERVICES FOR DAILY LIVING
NDIS participants often require assistance with everyday tasks that allow them to maintain their independence and quality of life. Chrysus Group provides several practical support services that help participants maintain routine and stability.
CLEANING SUPPORT & SAFE HOME ENVIRONMENTS
A clean and organised home can make a meaningful difference to wellbeing, independence, and daily comfort. Chrysus Group provides cleaning support for NDIS participants who may need assistance maintaining a safe and hygienic living environment.
Cleaning services can be tailored to each participant’s needs and may include tasks such as kitchen and bathroom cleaning, vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and general household tidying. The goal is to help participants maintain a comfortable home while reducing stress and supporting day-to-day living.
Where appropriate, support workers may also encourage participants to gradually build confidence in managing their own household tasks, helping them develop practical skills that support long-term independence.
TRANSPORT & COMMUNITY ACCESS SUPPORT
Transport services allow participants to attend medical appointments, visit community groups, go shopping, or participate in social activities. Reliable transport can play a significant role in maintaining independence and reducing isolation.
Chrysus Group aims to make transport services more than just travel between locations. Staff take the time to understand participant preferences, routines, and interests, helping to create a supportive and comfortable experience.
COMMUNITY PARTICIPATION & SOCIAL ENGAGEMENT
Participating in the community is an important part of maintaining wellbeing. Chrysus Group assists participants in accessing local events, volunteering opportunities, employment activities, and community programmes.
Support workers help participants explore opportunities within their communities, ensuring they feel confident and supported while engaging in these activities.
PEER MENTORING & CAPACITY BUILDING
Peer mentoring services focus on helping participants develop skills, confidence, and strategies that allow them to achieve their personal goals. These sessions often involve discussing challenges, identifying solutions, and developing practical plans for moving forward.
Because many staff members have experience overcoming their own challenges, mentoring sessions often provide practical insights that participants can relate to and apply to their own lives.
PSYCHOSOCIAL RECOVERY COACHING & WELLBEING SUPPORT
Some NDIS participants require specialised support related to mental health and psychosocial disability. Chrysus Group offers psychosocial recovery coaching to assist participants in identifying services, building support networks, and developing long-term recovery plans.
Recovery coaching focuses on helping individuals strengthen their capacity to manage daily life, make informed decisions, and access the services they require. The aim is to support participants in developing confidence and independence while navigating their recovery journey.
These services can be particularly helpful for participants who require guidance when working with multiple service providers or coordinating different aspects of their NDIS plan.
FLEXIBLE PHONE & ONLINE SUPPORT OPTIONS
While many NDIS services are delivered face to face, Chrysus Group also recognises that remote support can be valuable in certain circumstances. Participants may prefer flexible communication options or may live in regional locations where in-person services are less accessible.
Phone calls, video calls, and online sessions allow participants to access mentoring, goal-setting support, or regular wellbeing check-ins from the comfort of their homes.
Regular communication can help identify potential challenges early and provide participants with guidance before situations become more difficult to manage.
GOAL SETTING & PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT
A key part of the NDIS framework involves helping participants work towards meaningful goals. Chrysus Group assists participants with identifying goals that align with their interests, abilities, and future plans.
Once goals are identified, they can be broken down into achievable steps that are monitored and reviewed regularly. This structured approach helps participants stay focused while also recognising progress along the way.
Goals may relate to employment, education, community participation, independent living skills, or personal wellbeing.
